I’ll admit I had high hopes for the play and wasn’t disappointed by its dark mystery, poetry and it’s smoothly constructed ethical questions on the themes of animal rights and power.Ĭomplicité have adapted the story to stage from a novel of the same name by Olga Tokarczuk. To call Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead a ‘murder mystery’ would be missing the point, as we’re not searching for the killer, but rather their justifications. ![]()
